/ WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW?

Exciting Times is on this year’s longlist for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and is the debut book from Irish author, Naoise Dolan. It’s about a young Irish woman teaching English in Hong Kong and the love affair she finds herself wrapped in. I LOVE its dry, funny tone that’s also really insightful and witty – a fresh new voice that I’m really enjoying so far.

/ WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY READ?

My first novel set in 2021, so the first novel I’ve read that directly references the pandemic: I Know What You’ve Done is a fantastic, fast paced thriller about the ultimate nosy neighbour. Priscilla has spent lockdown recording the movements of all her neighbours, now she knows too much, so someone is out to get her – but who?

/ WHAT WILL YOU READ NEXT?

I spotted The Glass House by Eve Chase in the library and was immediately drawn to its gorgeous cover. Also, I’ve previously read and loved The Vanishing of Audrey Wilde by the same author, so am looking forward to starting this one . Here’s the blurb:
