September is my birthday month (and it very randomly falls between the birthdays of two of my favourite authors…) one of whom is Agatha Christie.
To mark (what would have been) her special day, I collated for you 5 brilliant Agatha Christie facts – her life was SO interesting, it was hard to narrow it down to 5, but these were the ones I thought exceptionally fascinating! And yes, one of my reviews this month is an Agatha, along with…
My September Book Reviews:

/ Dear Reader by Cathy Rentzenbrink
/ Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

/ People of Abandoned Character by Claire Whitfield
You might have noticed Pride and Prejudice on my review list there and assumed it was a beloved re-read but NO fellow readers, I have to admit that this was my first time reading this classic novel. And what did I think of it? Well…
I have to highlight People of Abandoned Character – it had all the elements I just love in a novel, an historical setting, based on real life events (Jack the Ripper, no less) and a suspense-filled story. I also loved Dear Reader, Cathy Rentzenbrink’s loveletter to the joy of reading and fascinating account fo her bookish life. Highly recommend!
I kicked off the month by introducing a new page on my blog: Books by Mood. Thank you for all the lovely feedback I’ve had about it, I made it to help people find their next great read and I’m so pleased it seems to be useful already.
Until next month, Happy Reading!
