Welcome to my August WWW Wednesday instalment! This is a weekly (but I tend to do it monthly) challenge, hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.
If you’re curious about what other people are reading right now too, join in! All you have to do is answer the three bookish questions below and put your blog link on Sam’s weekly post in the comments.

/ WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW?
I really like Elly Griffiths, although haven’t yet read her lead detective series with Dr. Ruth Galloway – it’s on my list! Bleeding Heart Yard is the third book featuring detective Harbinder Kaur (the previous two The Stranger Diaries and The Postscript Murders were both excellent) and it moves the action to London, where a man – now a prominent MP – is found dead at his school reunion, so everyone there is a suspect…
/ WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY READ?
The latest Dorothy Koomson, My Other Husband is a brilliant psychological thriller. I have been reading a lot of thrillers recently and this one really stands out. It has SUCH a unique spin in its plot that you just won’t see coming – highly recommend!
/ WHAT WILL YOU READ NEXT?
I want to read a book that’s been sitting on my TBR for a while, so asked my other half to browse through my shelves and pick something out for me. He brought back a selection of three and When God Was A Rabbit by Sarah Winman was one of them. It’s blurb goes a little like this…
Spanning four decades, from 1968 onwards, this is the story of a fabulous but flawed family and the slew of ordinary and extraordinary incidents that shape their everyday lives. It is a story about childhood and growing up, loss of innocence, eccentricity, familial ties and friendships, love and life. Stripped down to its bare bones, it’s about the unbreakable bond between a brother and sister.
As I’ve read quite a lot of thrillers recently, this sounds like a great genre switch.
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week or plan on reading soon – let me know below!
I like the look of My Other Husband. Enjoy your books!

These books look good. I try to mix the genres I read but I do love a Thriller! I have so many books on my TBR shelves. I was supposed to read some this year, but it isn’t going well …
Have a great week!
